Leopard Print Bedding – Which Color Is Best?
There are so many different ways to decorate your bedroom these days. Its almost becoming completely overwhelming to even attempt it. If you have been to any home decor store lately, you will know what I’m talking about. You have to sift through literally thousands of paint colors and figure out which one you like best. The worst part is you have to figure this out by using a 1″x1″ square of the color in question. Put It up to the wall and pretend like you can actually visualize what that will look like in your bedroom. That is just insane to have to do.

I have a simpler method of finding out which color will go best in your bedroom. This is a method that has been used by professional interior designers for decades.
Don’t start with the walls or the floor or the curtains. You want to start with the center piece of your room which is going to be your bed. Take a look at comforters and see what you like. One of the most popular selections these days is leopard print bedding. The leopard print gives an exotic feel to the room with a cool mixture of colors and design that gives a calming presence to the room. It also is very different from the bold bland single color bedroom sets. It adds character and pizazz to your room.
Depending on which room you are designing for will help you to select the color. For this example we are going to use a boys room. Leopard print doesn’t only come in the traditional browns and tans that we are used to seeing. You can get leopard print in almost any color that you wish. A very popular color for young boys rooms is blue. The blue leopard print bedding has a nice edge to it but also allows you to design the rest of the room with ease.
Picking out a set for boys is going to be much easier than girls. You really don’t need to worry about any decorative pillows. Just the standard pillow cases, sheets, duvet and a bed skirt will be perfect. Once you have the blue picked out you can take the colors (usually located on the back of the bedding) to your local hardware store and they will be able to match them with ease.
I usually like to use 2 colors for the wall paint. This will allow me to paint 3 of the bedroom walls a lighter color and then have one darker color on my accent wall.
